Holiday Star Workshops

Get crafty and cozy on December 8th for two star themed, drop-in workshops at Anvil Centre!

Naif textile and mixed media artist, storyteller and community arts facilitator Paulina Constancia will guide you in making mini cross-stitched hanging stars — a fresh take on the traditional Philippine Christmas parol (lantern).

The team from New Westminster Family Place will also be joining us for the evening!  Enjoy creating a Scandinavian brown paper bag holiday stars craft while also learning more about the fantastic services they provide in the Community.

Paulina Constancia is a visual artist and community arts facilitator born in Cebu, Philippines, and now creating in Vancouver, BC. Her joyful, story-filled works and workshops celebrate culture, creativity, and shared humanity. Through engaging art experiences, Paulina shares a taste of Filipino culture and community spirit, inviting participants to connect, create, and celebrate together. www.paulinaconstancia.com
