New Media Gallery (NMG) is a public gallery run by the City of New Westminster. Our exhibitions are FREE of charge! We’re located in the heart of the downtown at Anvil Centre. NMG presents some of the most provocative and inspiring artists in the world. Our group exhibitions include explorations into things like artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality, magnetism, gravity, light, infinity, space and cartoon worlds. We’ve gained a reputation for bringing works of art together in mind-blowing ways that give insights into the worlds of science and technology. We’re one of the easiest galleries to visit by rapid transit; we’re right across from the Skytrain and a short hop from downtown Vancouver. New Media Gallery offers exceptional arts + technology workshops. Our staff include some of the most talented instructors and artists in Metro Vancouver. Our home base is the Learning Lab at Anvil Centre, a state-of-the-art teaching facility that caters to all ages, schools and abilities.

School programs (K-12):

Ask us about our unique exhibition tours and workshops. We offer invaluable connections with innovative technologies, big ideas and out-of-the-box thinking, and introduce students to the works of international artists.

New Media Gallery offers a fascinating selection of exciting arts events from international artist talks, creative performances, art film screenings and innovative arts events. We have hosted more than 50 international talks by some of the most significant artists and scientists in the world.
