The play's the thing! Whether your first or hundredth time, this drama class will open your eyes to character and script work, strengthen ensemble building and help you find your confidence onstage. This workshop looks at new and experimental ways of creating live action videos. Learn how to film and edit video through engaging and fun activities. This class will focus on using 360 degree cameras that can create immersive and virtual videos that can be viewed with a virtual headset. Students will get a copy of their video artwork to share with family and friends.

This online class is for kids who are new to creating music. Music comes in many forms and in this progressive class, kids will learn the science of sound and how to make amazing compositions on the computer. Activities will include creating songs using code, sampling sounds and synthesizing sounds. Sonic Pi software will be used to create and teach sound composition.

Anvil Centre’s cultural studios are top-of-the-line professional studio spaces that offer quality settings for visual, performing, applied, sound and new media arts.

They are available for workshops, lectures, screenings and rehearsals.

Anvil Centre also offers a professionally outfitted, acoustically insulated music practice room. All cultural studios and the music practice room can be rented at affordable prices.
