Anvil Centre Theatre
Anvil Centre Theatre is a vibrant, contemporary space ideal for presentations, banquets and galas, conferences and other business events.
Multiple configurations, state-of-the-art theatre features, an experienced theatre staff and 5-star catering options create a customized audience experience for all types of events.
Additional staffing fees may apply to events outside of our regular operating hours.
Are you producing a play, concert or community performance?
Included in Every Theatre Rental:
- Event manager/Duty Manager (for events with catering)
- Technical Supervisor (up to 8 hours included)
- Tables and chairs
- Linens for events with catering
- One standard event set-up/conversion (additional labour charges may apply to non-standard event requirements and/or for additional furnishing and equipment)
- Additional General Technician required for most events (additional hourly fees apply)
- Access to the in-house sound system for background music
- Microphones
- Standard event housekeeping (post-event cleaning fees may apply to certain events such as consumer shows and festivals)
- Washroom cleaning during event

Full Seating
Standard theatre-style configuration and seating, plus balcony. Accommodates 361 guests.

Half Seating
Half the depth of a full seating configuration, plus balcony. Accommodates 201 guests.

Half seating with bistro tables
Table seating on the floor for 60 guests, plus 153 theatre seats and 48 balcony seats.

Open Floor
Fully retracted configuration (no seating) that accommodates up to xxx standing guests. Ideal for banquets, receptions and small trades shows. An extra conversion fee of $400 applies.

Thrust Seating
Adds two risers to the half seating configuration, extending from the sides of the house. Accommodates 323 guests, including the balcony.
