We continue to offer exceptional Art & Technology programs and workshops led by some of the most talented instructors and artists in Metro Vancouver. The Art & Technology LAB at Anvil Centre is a state-of-the-art teaching facility that caters to all ages, schools, and abilities. Learn about an array of technologies, test out maker skills, and learn about meaning in a world of technology.

Art & Technology LAB Technologies:

LittleBits modular invention kits , iMacs, iPads, 3D scanners, 3D printers, camera lenses, lights, green screen, backdrops projectors, microphones, digital microscopes, audio, Arduino, Makey Makey, arts/maker supplies and tools.

School programs (K-12):

Our unique exhibition tours and creative tech workshops are currently on hiatus. We offer invaluable connections with innovative technologies, big ideas and out-of-the-box thinking, and introduce students to the works of international artists.

Our group exhibitions look at artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality, magnetism, gravity, light, infinity, space and cartoon worlds. We’ve gained a reputation for mind-blowing exhibitions that give insights into the worlds of science and technology.

New Media Gallery’s exhibition program is currently on hiatus. Watch for the next iteration of the Gallery coming in 2025.

New Media Gallery has offered a fascinating selection of exciting arts events from international artist talks, creative performances, art film screenings and innovative arts events. In ten years, the gallery hosted more than 50 international talks by some of the most significant artists and scientists in the world.
