WHO YOU ARE ON THE COURT REVEALS WHO YOU ARE OFF THE COURT. MONDAY NIGHTS IS AN INTERACTIVE BASKETBALL/THEATRE PERFORMANCE THAT INVITES YOU TO LACE UP YOUR SNEAKERS AND GET IN THE GAME.

Five men came together every Monday night and stayed until the lights turned off. They didn’t come to watch. They came to play.

Experience our flexible theatre transformed into a basketball court, theatre style.  Based on the ongoing real-life pickup basketball games played for the better part of a decade, Monday Nights is an interactive basketball and theatre experience with the same five men recreating their stories for the stage and exploring how a simple game can help us understand ourselves and connect to our community.

No matter your age, skill, knowledge or passion for basketball, lace up your sneakers, get off the bench and into the game – the ball is in your court.

Created by the 6h Man Collective and Theatre Centre (Toronto)

The Anvil Centre is excited to once again partner with the PuSh Festival to bring two unique performances to New Westminster. For a limited time you can access tickets to both shows through an exclusive offer using the promo code ANVIL.

Monday Nights invites you to lace up your sneakers and get in the game! Every Monday night for over a decade, five men came together to play basketball. Friendships were formed, bonds were strengthened; they shared each other’s victories and losses, triumphs and heartbreaks. The game became a refuge and they left it all on the court.

Tickets starting at $39. Child tickets $15.

Plus special access for Monday Nights ticket buyers

They’ve researched, they’ve taught, they’ve publicized, they’ve protested… but above all, they’ve loved—each other and the planet. Drs. David Suzuki and Tara Cullis are activists and life partners, and on this special evening, they take the opportunity to share with us a lifetime of stories. This workshop presentation is a casual, conversational piece of theatre, powered by the warmth and affability of the couple, but it carries with it a message of the utmost importance.

*This workshop performance is available only to PuSh Pass Holders, Anvil Centre Series Subscribers, or through this special offer with purchase of a Monday Nights ticket.
