Beethoven Complete Sonatas for Cello and Piano

This production has been postponed until further notice due to public health initiatives related to Covid 19 virus. Ticket buyers will receive communications in the upcoming days as soon as next steps are determined.

Gary Hoffman & David Selig

Gary Hoffman is one of the most significant artists of our time, and for many he is simply the best living cellist in the world.

This is a rare opportunity to catch the Vancouver-born artist’s performance in North America, especially as they’re visiting for the only performance in Canada to celebrate Beethoven’s 250th anniversary at the beautiful Anvil Centre.

Gary will be playing Beethoven’s complete five sonatas for cello and piano on a 1662 Nicolo Amati, the “ex-Leonard Rose”, with his long-time collaborator David Selig, an acclaimed Australian artist currently residing in Paris as a professor at the Lyons Conservatoire National Supérieur.

A truly special finale performance to complement our beautiful new season at the Anvil Centre!
