Welcome To The Family
with Mike Marino and Maria Manna
“New Jersey’s Bad Boy” Mike Marino is coming to Vancouver!
Jersey City native, Mike Marino, will be bringing his new comedy show, “Welcome to the Family,” to Vancouver.
Inspired by his family’s heritage and the absurdities of modern life, Mike’s riotous comedy has taken him from The Tonight Show, to sitcoms, to major comedy clubs, theaters, and casinos from New York to Los Angeles, and around the world. His latest routine is all about his family and the dynamics of growing up as an Italian American in Jersey.
This is a stand-up comedy show not to be missed. Mike’s video “If the President Were Italian” hit 12 million+ views on YouTube.
He’s also been a highlight of Montreal’s famed Just for Laughs Comedy Festival for seven years in a row. In 2008, Marino was inducted into the New Jersey Comedy Hall of Fame, and in 2015 he was awarded the USO Bob Hope Comedy Award for his regular performances for the U.S. military.
Opening the show for Mike is singer, songwriter, producer, playwright, actor, and philanthropist Maria Manna! Maria is an award-winning, Italian-Canadian jazz, blues and gospel vocalist who has performed with legendary greats, such as Paul Horn, Tommy Banks, Alfie Zappacosta, and David Foster. She has also performed alongside Lanie Kazan and Patricia Heaton in the movie “The Engagement Ring”. Maria has most recently had the honour of being a Juno Award judge. She is also the first female in Alberta to record an album in Italian, earning herself an induction into the music archives of Alberta.
