A great way for curious minds to learn and play together. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tabletop Gaming Together
Ground Floor
11:00am to 4:00pm

You’re invited to reconnect the old fashioned way: around a table, with a board game, and in great company! Join Anvil Centre and Friendship Gaming Club for a fun afternoon of drop-in board gaming. This inclusive, all-ages event is a New Westminster tradition that brings people together through play, conversation, and shared discovery.

Get to know a range of modern and classic table top gaming. Whether it’s a quick, easy-to-learn favourite, or something more strategic for curious minds, there’s something for everyone! No experience is needed, and the friendly hosts from Friendship Club Gaming are more than happy to help newcomers find a game that fits their interests. Bring your own game, or enjoy one that’s provided. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Solidarity Forever Gallery Tours
3rd Floor New Westminster Museum
11:00am—3:00pm

Spend Family Day with the ones you love exploring unions! Join the New Westminster Museum & Archives as we celebrate the launch of our new exhibition Solidarity Forever with thematic crafts, activities, scavenger hunts, and more.

This exhibition explores what brought people together and what they stood up against, revealing both the harsh realities of past working conditions and the struggles that continue today. By tracing the stories of those who demanded change, it reminds us that workers’ rights were fought for—not freely given.

Family Banners
4th Floor Cultural Studios
Monday, February 16 from 11:00am—3:00pm

Let’s get crafty together! Cut, paste and create a colourful paper banner with those you love.  Use papers, collage materials, googly-eyes, markers and more to make your one-of-a-kind creation modeled after your own one-of-a-kind family.
